WITH BANNERS RAISED
SYNOPSIS
Amelia and the Coalition escalate their resistance against the corruption of the Commission of the People with a series of bold, public demonstrations in the capital. These events draw the attention of other resistance groups, but also create tension within the Coalition as the motivation and execution of their own extreme demonstrations are called into question. When a demonstration goes horribly wrong, the Coalition starts to feel the fingers of Central closing around them, threatening to crush them now that they are seen as a true risk to the country's stability. When the Commission of the People directly threatens and then frames the Coalition in an assassination, the group is forced into hiding, many of them escaping across the border... though some never make it to safety. After months of domesticity in Mexico, Amelia and Val then must make the difficult decision of whether they want to continue living their lives outside of America, or return for one final rescue.
