• Dalton's Nationality: Even though Dalton in the Dimension Guardian series is from this same world (a few thousand years in the future), he is not from any nations described in this series. His birth nation is in the other hemisphere.
• Damien's Physical Frailty: Damien's physical illnesses and conditions are caused by a birth defect in his heart where he has a hole in his heart. Due to the time period and the progression of medicine in this world, this will never be discovered as the cause of his infirmity.
• The Blue Scarf: Raduk buys a blue scarf for Nina when he buys her Abaraen clothes so she can blend in. The scarf is an optional ornamentation and tends to signify women of status. The reason Raduk buys her the blue one is because blue is his favorite color.
• Cadoc's Affections: Cadoc is homosexual, but that is against the teachings of the Faith so he does keep it a secret, even though everyone can see his devotion to Damien. Damien does know about his crush, but does not see it as a threat and tends to ignore it.
• Beloved Maahana: The title "Beloved" is one of the highest rankings given to a leader in this tribe of Abarae. When a ruler first ascends the throne, he has no title attached and is addressed by Maahana "name". And then as they win wars, negotiate trades, and serve the people to the best of their ability, the titles are added starting from Good, to Great, to Illustrious, to Beloved, and finally to Exalted. A few Maahanas in Abaraen history have had specialty monikers based on specific wars or events, but for the current Maahana to reach the title of "Beloved" is a very high honor in this country.
• Country of Sedenia: The country of Sedenia that is mentioned as the country that collapsed under warring nobles and that those nobles now have positions as advisors to different crowns never existed. It is a story that the Overseer uses in this world as he moves from different advisor positions to lend himself credibility. Juki and Rutu did find out the story and use the same story to both further the lie and keep up appearance of advisors from Sedenia being highly sought after due to their knowledge and cunning.
• Amat's Injuries: Amat's self-inflicted injuries are a combination of beliefs between Abarae and the Faith. The facial markings are an old tribal practice in Abarae where the marks of those who have betrayed their family have dark markings tattooed to the face to publicly mark them for all to be wary of. But rather than tattoo, Amat has adapted the practice to be shallow cuts that will scar, as that is an old practice of the Faith to show divine forgiveness from the Deity as the scars represent healing after the name of a crime is carved into the skin of a criminal.
• Advisors Moment: In Chapter 25 when Jussa and Remik see Valnez and recognize him, it is because this is Juki and Rutu recognizing Vestera, all acting as advisors to different major powers in this world. Vestera was unaware Juki and Rutu were working within that world and likewise Juki and Rutu were also unaware Vestera was working for Midastia.
• Nina's Child: In Chapter 28 Nina realizes she is pregnant. While she is the ancestor to Dalton, Dalton's bloodline is descended from Nina's child by a different father.
• Damien's Crimes: Damien admits to killing Caria-Denoté DeBas by pushing him down the stairs during an argument. In truth, all the "justice" that Nina believes was divine judgment for those who killed her parents actually came from Damien's hands (apart from those who caught STIs and the mudslide). Damien did push one down the stairs, but it was not an accident. As for the two Deacons, Damien mentally tormented them by depriving them of sleep, adding hallucinogenic plants into their food and drink, and playing into the delusions so it seemed as though their deaths were due to their madness rather than Damien's manipulations.
• Raduk's Imprisonment: Damien reacts harshly to seeing Nina with Raduk in Chapter 32. It is important to note that the Carias did watch and listen to the entire interaction between Raduk and Nina as they were next to his chambers, and he was waiting for Damien to come to his rooms. Damien's demeanor was (partially) an act.
